Favour ideas from local brides

Thank you for sharing your ideas and inspiring other brides!

Erin A

big day: September 24, 2005, cost per favour: $5.00 each

my idea: My fiancé and I love wine, and we bottle our own, so we thought it would be a perfect solution to give a bottle of our favourite kind to each of our guests. We went to the local bottling store, selected the juice, and 8 weeks later we were bottling! As an added touch we are personalizing the labels with a picture of us and our wedding date.

Carianne

big day: September 20, cost per favour: approx. $2

my idea: Found some cute heart-shaped candy dishes for about $1.50 and then we're filling them with little candies.

Jacqui

big day: July 16, 2005, cost per favour: $6

my idea: We met at Tim Hortons and now almost 18 months later we are getting married. We asked Tim Hortons if we could purchase their mugs, and we are putting a $1.00 certificate in each one. A reminder to all out guest of us each time they drink their coffee!

Claire

big day: September 30, 2005, cost per favour: $2

my idea: My theme for the wedding is a monogrammed one. Since my last name will start with a "k" each guest will receive a chocolate letter k as their favour. This is also perfect since my wedding colors are chocolate brown and pink!

Kendra

big day: June 3, 2006, cost per favour: $0.67

my idea: I bought bells for people to ring when they want us to kiss, I took out the original colour of ribbon and but in my colours, along with that I took a fine tip marker and wrote Our names on it and on the other side our wedding date!

Maija

big day: July 15, 2006, cost per favour: $2

my idea: Engraved shot glasses (example... groom and brides name, and their wedding date).
