The Ring has put a spotlight on brides in the Brantford, Paris, Ayr, Simcoe, Mount
Pleasant and surrounding areas since its launch of The Brantford Wedding Ring,
on February 26th, 2006.
After only a few
weeks, this local community of The Ring has hundreds of brides already
registered as members, and thirteen categories of reviews available. There is no
question that Brant County is showing itself to have more than a little to say
about how to plan an amazing wedding... And there is so much more in store.

Wendy Wilson, is an active member of the local wedding and business
industry and she coordinates a large yearly bridal show at the Brantford

Timeless Expressions loft space on Dalkeith Drive. Before sitting down
to interview Wendy, we had the chance to take in some of the wedding and
family portraits that hung, gallery-style, on each wall throughout the

 Karen
and Daryl Granger are not your typical hired help when it comes to your wedding
day. They are a down to earth husband and wife team that make it easy to relax
and enjoy having your photo taken. They not only do their best to make you look
your best, but they try to help eliminate any stresses that may come along as
well. They welcome all the challenges and unpredictability of a wedding day and
the result is vibrant photos that capture the personality and spirit of the
bride and groom. We had the pleasure of meeting Karen and Daryl from Memories in
the Making Photography at the Paris Fairground Bridal Show this past January,
and right away were drawn in by the photographs they had on display. Each of
them uniquely expressed the romance and light-hearted elegance of the couples’
wedding days... and the pair themselves were just as pleasant as their pictures
are! Later, when we sat down with Karen and Daryl at their home-based studio, we

 Scott
Reynold's love for his work can be seen in just a few glances at
his photos. In the large country farmhouse on Tutela Heights Road they call
their home and studio, Scott and his wife Tanya operate their photography
company Memory Lane Studio. True to their name, a walk through the space is a
walk through countless wedding memories. Framed photos and albums frequented the
walls, shelves and table tops in the area where we met with Scott and Tanya.
After eighteen years and over 500 weddings to their name, it's easy to imagine
that this photo collection is only a small selection of what they could show us.
Scott's photography career originally began at a young age. Growing up, it
wasn't uncommon to see him holding a camera just about anywhere he went. Scott
would take walks with his mother and photograph the scenes they passed, shooting
entirely in natural light. His mother, an artist, would then use his photos to
draw from. Not surprisingly, Scott admits, "My first love was definitely for
nature photography." Since his youth, Scott's photography has become much more
